The Innovation Project Leader is responsible for the definition, development and validation of innovative product solutions for the Business Group and contributes directly to the construction of our research portfolio.

The main missions of the role are as follows:

- Project management and / or technical support taking into account technical objectives, time and budget constraints, working with suppliers and/or customers achieved within the framework of the internal Innovation process and its associated deliverables.
- Coordinate his/her designated projects in interface with other departments (costing, purchasing, prototypes, testing, )
- Be proactive in proposing new projects, coherent with the product plan and with market research.
- Protect all ideas via Patents and Invention Disclosures. Keeps abreast of technology evolution, market research and competitors within his/her field.
- Build and keep up to date all means of communication (internal, external and marketing support) linked to his/her activity.
- Is the internal and external ambassador for his/her projects, both within Faurecia and externally.
- Build and keep up to date internal guidelines related to his/her field.

The activity of the Innovation Project Leader will be particularly focused on the development of new projects: product definition, formalization of specifications and FMEA, organization of the validation process (physical or simulated), collaboration with supplier, customers, partners, Preparation and presentation of project milestones to Innovation management etc

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or significant professional experienc. Master or PhD would be a plus.
- Working knowledge of resins or fibers, knowledge of plastic and or fibers moulding.
- Proven Project management experience
- English required, a third language ia also strongly appreciated
- Team player with strong communication skills
- International mind set, able to work in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in Automotive Industry sector is a plus.
