Tech Project Manager

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The management & delivery of projects and products, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. The adoption and adaptation of project management methodologies based on the context of the project and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio, program and project support_
- Uses recommended portfolio, program and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
- Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
- Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
- Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
- Requirements definition and management_
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for smallscale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives to meet the project/product goals.
- Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
- Prioritises requirements and documents traceability to source.
- Reviews requirements for errors and omissions. Provides input to the requirements baseline. Investigates, manages and applies authorised requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
- Resource Management_
- Ensures appropriate leadership skills are present at every level through creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which teams are supported to succeed on project delivery.
- Understands the capacity available and by considering the complexity of the requirements is able to guide the teams to do project/product planning.
- Continuously monitors and evaluates team workload, organizational efficiency and team feedback to make appropriate changes to meet business needs.
- Fosters the continues improvement mindset in the teams.
- Provides team members with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and GIT objectives

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

- Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient spoken and written command of English
- At least 5-year experience in IT
- 2 years of experience in relevant area
- 1 year of experience in team management
- Understanding of different cultures and able to work on distributed teams
- Participated in international projects with people from other functions/markets
