The position

We are seeking a **consultant** to join our **Health Innovation Team**. You will be working at our Barcelona headquarters, taking responsibility for the execution and management of innovation consultancy assignments with partners across Europe. You will be working in 2-4 small teams serving several clients in parallel, so strong project management skills are essential.

Our health innovation team addresses the current challenges faced by the healthcare system. Today, these systems are confronted with unprecedented demographic and economic pressures. Europe’s aging population, growing healthcare worker shortages, and the introduction of innovative treatments are driving up costs and straining reimbursement systems. These new challenges demand collaborative, multi-stakeholder responses that existing frameworks are ill-prepared to deliver. This is where Bax’s Healthcare Innovation team steps in with its key topics of focus:

In the Healthcare Innovation focus area, you will help us to support clients from all around Europe by developing innovative projects with stakeholders from the entire healthcare value chain, managing EU-funded initiatives, or working on innovation strategies.

**The main tasks you will work on include**:

- ** Conceptualisation and implementation** of European innovation initiatives, coordinating clients, leading concept development, and producing high-value analysis, advice, and deliverables for clients.
- ** Project management** of existing and new initiatives with topics around healthcare innovation (Organisation of meetings and teleconferences: Scheduling and preparing calls/meetings; and then processing the follow-up actions.)
- ** Analysis and market research** of potential opportunities ranging from health policy implementation to technical topics such as the use of AI in new ground-breaking health technologies.-
**Qualifications**:

- Education**:MSc in the field of Health & Life sciences**, Biomedical engineering, or other studies demonstrating technical background and knowledge of healthcare.
- Experience**:2-5 years of relevant professional experience** in EU-funded projects with a solid understanding of both technical knowledge and business and management practices in healthcare.
- Languages**: Proficiency in English**, both written and oral, is essential (almost all our assignments are performed in English). Additionally, we value fluency in our client’s native languages including Dutch, Spanish or French.

**Soft skills**:

- We expect a **great deal of autonomy and proactivity**, being able to communicate professionally with partners and clients, and managing and leading discussions and public presentations.

**Hard skills**:

- Analytical skills, Project Management, Healthcare industry knowledge, and EU-projects.
