Step into the fast-paced, detail-driven world of **Meetings & Events** at **Grand Hyatt Barcelona**, a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel where elegance meets efficiency. We’re looking for a **Events Trainee** to join our team from **November**—someone organized, people-focused, and ready to make every guest experience flawless.

As part of our **Events & Banqueting team**, you'll be the link between our clients and operations—ensuring that every meeting, incentive, conference, or gala goes off without a hitch. From guest interaction to on-the-ground logistics, you’ll be at the heart of it all.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Support the Events team in the **coordination and planning** of social, corporate, and private events
- Assist in the **preparation of event documentation**, including function sheets, schedules, and internal communications
- Help manage **client communications**, ensuring all event details are confirmed and accurately shared with relevant departments
- Collaborate with Banqueting, Kitchen, AV, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth event execution
- Contribute to **inventory tracking**, supplier coordination, and logístical planning
- Participate in **data collection and reporting** to evaluate event performance and support decision-making
- Assist with **signage, materials, and digital organization** of event-related documents
- Maintain **internal filing systems** and support administrative tasks related to event operations
- Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset

**Who You Are**:

- A current university student (preferably studying Hospitality, Events, or Tourism)
- Available to start in **November**for a **6-month internship**
- Fluent in **Spanish and English**
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- A confident communicator who thrives in guest-facing roles
- Proactive, flexible, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Able to sign a university internship agreement
- Legally authorized to work in Spain or enrolled in an EU internship program
