Rotor Pitch Electrical Intern

**Job Description Summary**: Support on design engineering for pitch electro-mechanical system mechanical components of next generation turbines development including participation in all steps of part development: requirement collection, conceptual and detailed design and specification and reports creation.

This internship/working student will give a deep insight into Engineering team in the Offshore Wind Turbine industry and GE Renewable Energy. The intern will work very closely with electrical & mechatronical technical team, and comissioning support team, showing your skills and taking responsibility in our team. Design development, Test & validation, preparation specifications, documentation and reports will also be part of your tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the electric pitch design development.
- Follow Engineering Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works execution
- Propose improvements to optimize Engineering activities
- Ensure team keeps an appropriate operating rhythm in the different project preparation and project executions to ensure KPI business targets are met by the team, driving simplification, efficiency, productivity, and overall team performance

Essential Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university, or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Degree focused in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience in technical field. Multidisciplinary engineering base: electrical, mechanic, electronics & automation deep knowledege preferred.
- English languages [recommended] (Spanish and Catalan languages [as a plus])
- Creative problem solving and proactive learning
- Great time management skills to effectively priorities tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projects
- Good writing skills, accuracy and an eye for detail
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook)
