Marketing & Sales Controller

**Eurovision Services Madrid is recruiting a Marketing & Sales Controller to join the Finance department team in Madrid, Spain.**

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**

In this role as Sales & Marketing Controller, you will:

- Provide support on financial matters and ES overall financial and operating reporting needs.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget, the 5-year plan as well as the related re-forecast.
- Participate in various controlling activities aimed at ensuring accuracy of financial and management reporting.
- Drive ES business process improvement opportunities, especially in areas involving business/accounting transactional processes by scoping and delivering upstream systems and process improvements to improve data quality.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses for ES Operations Managers and ES management.
- Participate in producing ES consolidated reports and management presentations.
- Play an active role in special projects, including:

- Forecasting and reporting improvements
- Financial accuracy improvements
- Cash flow monitoring improvements
- Play an active role in the unit’s continuous development.
- Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions to identified issues with varying levels of scope and complexity.
- Develop internal knowledge on activities and operational analytics in order to perform financial and operational analyses and determine present and future financial performance.
- Support the process for developing Business Cases and produce post-evaluation analyses and reports in order to provide insight and help strategic decisions.

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 5-10 years of prior experience in budgeting, reporting and controlling.
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (notably Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills.
- The ability to interact with ease, confidence and credibility at all levels within and outside the company.
- A proactive approach and the ability to build consensus.
- Strong business acumen.
- The ability to adapt to and drive changing demands and conditions.
- A flexible can-do attitude and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Fluent English.

**ADDED VALUE**

Additional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:

- Experience or knowledge in the broadcast industry
- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams (our headquarters are located in Switzerland).
- French is a plus.
