Placer.ai has just raised $100M for Unicorn ($1B+) valuation in Series C funding. **SUMMARY**: - The Senior Accountant - A/R will work closely with the rest of the accounting team ensure smooth, efficient and accurate invoicing to our customers, timely collections and accurate reporting. The role is working on the receiving side of the company’s finances and is responsible for many records and payment-related transactions. The Senior Accountant - A/R will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving financial systems to the benefit of the Company whilst maintaining timely recording of deliverables, ensuring completeness, and high standards of accuracy. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: Own the AR process from contract signing to collections, including: - Being active in the contract execution and new customer onboarding process - Prepare and send invoices to customers - Maintain precise records of all incoming payments - Contact customers as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices - Work collaboratively with the rest of the accounting, finance and operations teams to ensure completeness of invoicing and accurate books and records - Audit all receipts, new customer, amendments and renewals information to ensure accuracy of reporting - Generate and deliver reports to different departments - Resolve billing and invoicing discrepancies - Ensure excellent communication and customer service - Other ad hoc financial and KPI projects on an as-needed basis **REQUIREMENTS**: - Strong organizational and communication skills - 5+ years of accounting or other GL operational experience, with experience in AR a plus - Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards - You’re able to proactively communicate effectively across departments in a remote environment and are used to working towards deliverable deadlines - You’re able to work independently and fully remote - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - You want to learn and grow with the company and work well in a small team environment - Experience in NetSuite a plus - Native English speaker **WHY JOIN PLACER.AI?** - Join a rocketship We are pioneers of a new market that we are creating - Take a central and critical role at Placer.ai - Work with, and learn from, top-notch talent - Competitive salary - Fully remote **NOTEWORTHY LINKS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT PLACER** - Placer.ai in a nutshell - Placer.ai's recent $100M round C funding (unicorn valuation) - Placer.ai's data - Placer.ai in the news - COVID-19 Economic Recovery Dashboard - Placer.ai is an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to building a team culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion._
