Company Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a senior content manager to join our Emmy Award winning Organic Social team, working alongside one of our partners - a leading global streaming service.

You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering social media content on this key account with the help of a team of project managers, content manager, editors and designers, and under the supervision of a Senior Content Director (Social).

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge across all social media platforms, as well as a good understanding of how brands can use social media to engage audiences online. Someone with experience on always on content, as well as organic and paid campaigns at a national level working alongside internal and external stakeholders. Passion for pop and internet culture is a must.

The role will be part remote and part based in Madrid, Spain.

**Job Description**:

- ** Social Account Management**
- The senior content manager will lead on the development of the social media presence for our client, helping drive reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
- The senior content manager will be responsible for the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and to create copy with oversight from the team. They will also work with social designers on the creation of assets, liaising with clients for reviews and approvals (as and when required), working with our team to build and manage communities around a well-loved global brand.
- The senior content manager will be responsible for creative ideation, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long-form copywriting, reporting. For this, the senior manager will brief, oversee and sign off on work created by junior content managers and other members of the team (as and when required).
- The senior content manager will work hand in hand with Senior Creative to make sure content and ideas are in line with creative strategy and fit for purpose for this client.
- ** Social Media Expertise**: the senior content manager will ensure they remain up to date with the new trends/behaviors on social media and translate this to various clients in a reactive and relevant way, for both paid and organic content.
- ** Project management**: Working closely with the project management team to ensure the success in time and on budget, delivery of briefs. This will involve understanding and following internal processes including but not limited to timing plans, content calendars, wash up reports for which the Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for. It includes Liaising with clients and key stakeholders to receive briefs and key information, ensure they are made aware of all relevant information, and are able to input on key decisions and sign off. This doesn’t include financials accountability

**Qualifications**:

- Someone with 4-6 years experience on social media
- Someone who is fluent in English (C1 English accreditation minimum) and Spanish with excellent written and communication skills
- Somebody who is passionate about social media, entertainment and pop culture, and that understands their nuances in Spain and LATAM.
- Someone with an understanding of Platform business manager (i.e Facebook business manager, Twitter business, Snapchat for Business)
- Experience creating content for social media: static asset, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes
- Experience running paid media campaigns - working with media agencies, understanding media KPIs, paid creative best practices
- Somebody with experience of building online communities, especially for brands, and that understands fandom communities in social spaces
- Someone with experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to flex and pivot in a fast-paced industry
- Experience and understanding of the entertainment industry is desired
- Experience in creative agencies preferred
