**This is your role***:

- Experienced IT Infrastructure Security Expert with skills to manage Siemens Global IT DC Services, migrations, optimization, and improvements.
- This role comprise the management of global Service Architecture activities, interaction with other IT projects regarding this topic, and fully accountable for the results as part of Service Families IaaS and PaaS.
- Daily activities with a virtual team spread worldwide and the need to travel.

**Your**
**tasks and responsibilities**:

- Act as Service Manager & Architect for the Datacenter backup services and work very closely with the central IT, business IT units to integrate the specific requirements into the corporate context.
- Ensure communication with needed stakeholders and team members.
- Design and implement a suitable DC backup strategy according to the customer demand process with the provider(s). Identify and evaluate options for improving the service. This process is driven by technical, economic, and business aspects.
- Ensuring a detailed knowledge of specific topic area and acting as topic contact for the Data Center Value Center and other departments.
- Ensure the performance and delivery of IT services to the users, irrespective of the number and nature of suppliers.
- Ensure the appliance of market standards and re-usability.
- Develop necessary service levels to fulfill business requirements.
- Contribute individually to the achievement of a Service Owner Team.
- Maximize the value of the product/service and the work of the service team (ROI).
- Support in planning, designing, and customizing infrastructure processes in the IT environment.
- Execute and/or organizes relevant tests in the customer IT service ordering portal.
- Coordinate delivery, integration, and interoperability across multiple IT services and suppliers.
- Act as “Product Owner Proxy” if required acc. to SCRUM.
- Technical support for Service Management within the framework of Major Incidents.

- Reviews and helps to define contractual Service Level Agreements with our different providers.

**Activities**:

- Reviews DR solution improvements in the locations using Site Recovery Manager (enabling the possibility to move servers with DR enabled to the recovery site even if the original site is not completely lost).
- New CEB (Backup Solution) infrastructure revision.
- Follow up on DHC migration events (attend to migration management bridge calls).
- Follow in DHC migration technical issues with provider.
- Find and fix incongruences between CMDB and CoD related with DR. (Servers with DR enabled in CMDB but without DR uplift in CoD, or Servers being charged for DR but without DR enabled.
- Contribute for ransomware PEN test in backup environment.
- Helps to detect and Fix issues with Change DR Options transactions for servers worldwide.
- Provides expertise and assistance to server owners questions related with Digital Hybrid Cloud activities and services.
- Reviews Backup and DR related SLAs and KPIs status and acts accordingly by working cross-functional with different stakeholders.
- Assists with the definition or improvement of contractual Service Level Agreements.

- Continuously share best practices and approaches across teams.
- Communication with Service Owners and other stakeholders (progress, issues, blockers, enablers).
- Cooperate with other IT teams to ensure interoperability and availability to ensure no losses to business functions or processing through non-availability or poor performance. Support business initiatives.
- Develop and positively influence key, strategic position stakeholders across locations and functions.
- Identifies and tracks issues identified in cooperation with other project work streams.
- Prioritizing location planning, control the process and provide support, as necessary.
- Timely provision of Status Reports, Rollout Plan, etc.
- Report status to management stakeholders on a regular, agreed upon, basis.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Implement the service as in cooperation with the Service Owner.
- Implement the needed ITIL processes e.g.
- Escalate issues as appropriate.
