**ABOUT THE ES GLOBAL OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING TEAM**
The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision Services, coordinating the management of requirements and delivery for all events, transmission and media services between broadcasters, EBU Members, sport federations and event organisers. The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions and achieving ambitious operational objectives, implementing reliable delivery solutions to provide outstanding value and services for our customers, while optimising costs to improve our bottom line.

The Project Management Office (PMO) unit is the central point for the coordination of all operational projects managed by Eurovision Services. The members of the team play a vital role in the setup and delivery of events, services but also structural and internal projects. They will always seek to meet the high expectations of Eurovision’s most demanding clients, while supervising the implementation of the most cost effective, efficient, and reliable solutions possible.

The Project Leader - Digital is acting as central figure linking Project and Event Delivery with the Digital Media Services (DMS) team. She/he spots improvement possibilities and process reviews, assesses these and implements these within the team. Daily, the Project Leader - Digital acts as a facilitator to allow deliveries including digital aspects to happen successfully.

The Project Leader - Digital is the main driver of digital services initiatives, company-wide.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**

In this role as a Project Leader - Digital, you will:

- Be able to define and implement a transverse concept allowing to listen to market, commercial needs and internal contributions
- Establish project timelines and milestones for all involved parties, track and follow-up on these.
- Set up project competencies landscapes and request head of units the necessary project team members by defining requests including scope, expected tasks, timescale and workload
- List necessary tasks, enter them in the relevant systems and track them to ensure completion in a timely manner
- Perform regular Budget Reviews, track expenses made by the project team and make sure provisioned amounts are situated within the planned budget foreseen in the solution. In case of overruns or unforeseen costs, systematic escalation to Manager of PMO needs to take place.
- Target constantly cost efficiency for all expenses made within the project by the project team and always reach financial objectives set by the Manager of PMO
- Perform systematic Project closure by ensuring logístical and financial aspects are looked at and closed before being handed over to relevant stakeholder
- Ensure a constructive and systematic debrief of each project by associating sponsor, provider, and project team.
**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience in similar project management roles within larger companies
- Technical background on: streaming technologies such as RTMP, HLS, SRT, DASH, security like DRM or geoblocking, systems like encoding, packaging, CDN, OTT platforms and more.
- Understanding of the logic behind a streaming delivery chain, both B2B and B2B2C, from backend to frontend via Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong technical & market knowledge of the broadcasting industry in line with ES Business lines
- Great background with live events streaming and sport production.
- Strong communication skills to be able to communicate expected changes and deliverables organization-wide transparently and constantly by associating Operations, Procurement, Strategy and Global Sales
- Proven financial literacy, and ability to manage budgets efficiently
- Impressive team player able to extract the best of each colleague
- Strong ability to work on multi-project dimensions within pressurized environments
- Motivated by challenges and implementation of new best practices and processes

- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams (our headquarters are located in Switzerland)
- Some experience in working on live sports events in a broadcasting environment
