**Job overview**

In this exciting position your mission is to drive the growth for our Healthcare Solutions division by selling complex healthcare IT solutions in the field of eye care. Your business area is Spain, and you are the expert in this region. In close co-operation you will work with the country sales team as well as the central solution sales and operational teams, throughout Europe.

Your challenge is to maximize sales and profitability by expanding and manage a strong network in the healthcare landscape of our partnerships within optical retailers, clinics and hospitals. By building trusting partnerships you will leverage best practices and accelerate our business. You report to the Sales and Business Development Director.

We are looking for a person who is capable to:

- Visiting stakeholders that are relevant in relation to successful contract management and building partnerships
- Identify and address needs of key stakeholders and develop winning value propositions, tailored to the various target groups and based on an added value for our health care partners
- Carry the responsibility for preparing, achieving and extending contracts and tenders
- Aim of monitoring the commercial performance based on the criteria as set in the agreements, and pro-actively influence cross-functionally the development of competitive customer-based solutions
- Providing feedback to the product management team as well as training and education of our partners and customers
- Understand the fundamentals of change management and you know how to lead teams through challenges
- Reach goals, meet deadlines and take responsibility of the results in your region

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

An experienced sales professional in either IT or eye/health care technology who is excited by the unique professional challenges and has a customer-first attitude.

You are full of energy and thrives in a challenging environment. You are entrepreneurial, proactive, a networker, and able to maintain contacts with different stakeholders at various levels. You have the ability to open doors and drive continuous improvement. You are a self-starter, having organizational and analytical skills and able to proactively and independently resolve issues in creative ways. You have a proven track record in a similar role and qualifications as:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in either IT or eye/health care technology sales (B2B) and business development. Existing network in eye care industry is seen as a big advantage, as is experience of selling into public hospitals and buying organizations.
- Experience of PACs EMR or PMS sales would be advantageous as would SaaS sales experience
- Relevant Bachelor or Master degree
- Demonstrated ability in managing either a territory or key account customers
- and grow business independently (of course with support of THS and Topcon country teams)
- Technologically oriented and solution seeking mindset
- Relationship building and project management skills are necessary
