**JOB SUMMARY**

The role will be a valuable** **part of Kensing’s Technology and Innovation team and will play a key part in driving Kensing innovation and new business strategy and increasing Kensing’s overall market valuation. This position is a significant contributor to the future success and growth of Kensing and reports to the Senior VP of Innovation and Technology.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for managing major projects in the human nutrition vertical
- Responsible for establishing a network of key internal and external capabilities, with the objective of placing Kensing in a world leading position in its markets.
- Responsible for new product development
- Responsible for process development to support global manufacturing efforts.
- Provide manufacturing support for the sterols and natural vitamin E vertical globally.
- Contribute directly to both customer satisfaction and sales growth by leading and providing technical expertise to customers, salespeople, and marketing.
- Drive major transformative innovation projects by identification and development of complementary technologies in the Sterols and Natural Vitamin E space.
- Participate/lead the acquisition and commercialization of these technologies globally, including M&A, in-licensing, global partnerships.
- Support One Rock Capital Partners and the Executive team in scouting and diligence on potential Mergers and Acquisition targets
- Drive development of the new product pipeline, including customer-specific solutions, from ideation to commercial launch.
- Work with business and marketing to create unique value propositions for our products.
- Understand regulations and compliances for Sterol / Natural Vitamin E product lines and support regulatory communications.
- Supports major investment projects in the Sterol / Natural Vitamin E space.
- Build a team to deliver against product development goals to enable growth of Sterol / Natural Vitamin E business.
- Ensure effective project execution and high success rate to meet timelines.
- Support/accompany the leadership team and salespeople with technical calls with key customers.
- All other duties as assigned.

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION**:

- Preferred: PHD in chemistry or food Science preferred.
- Required: master’s degree in chemistry or food Science preferred.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 10 years of experience in managing innovation in a large multinational chemical or biochemical industry.
- 5 years of experience in managing innovation in Sterol/Natural Vitamin E.

**KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED SKILLS**:

- Strong business acumen and proven ability to run and drive new business development with large multinational companies.
- Proven ability to build and lead ad-hoc world-class SWAT teams to tackle significant technology and business challenges in a fast-paced environment.
