This job opening offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology involving semiconductor metrology in their facilities based on Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain).

**The Role**:

- Support in the design and simulation of optical/optomechanical systems.
- Development of scripts for image processing and analysis (under supervision).
- Participation in the assembly and characterization of optical prototypes.
- Collaboration in the writing of technical documentation and scientific papers.
- Assistance in laboratory management (inventory, data organization).

**Your Profile**:

- BSc degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Basic simulation software knowledge (Zemax, COMSOL), or interest in learning.
- Basic scientific programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
- Motivation for research and technological development.
- Initiative to propose creative solutions.
- Ability for self-learning and teamwork.

**Also, it is desirable for the role**:

- Participation in related academic or extracurricular projects.
- Basic knowledge of image processing.
- Proficiency with English.
