Portfolio Lead

**The Opportunity**

Strategic Portfolio Management and Transformation function plays a key role in helping esw and our customers achieve strategic business outcomes by:

- driving ongoing transformation towards business agility.
- ensuring alignment of strategy and execution across the organisation.

As an individual contributor, the Product Portfolio Lead will support development, coordination and execution of the portfolio roadmap to meet ESW strategic objectives.

We are looking for someone who is driven, technical, highly organized and enjoys working at the intersection of tech and business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive Strategic Portfolio Management process and governance to ensure esw portfolio is focused on top-level strategies to accelerate business outcomes.
- Manage requests intake and initiation process in line with strategic objectives and prioritization model.
- Support stakeholders with new requests articulation to convey clear outcomes, value and effort to support evidence-based decision making.
- Facilitate Portfolio governance forums to support overall initiation, prioritization, planning, delivery and reporting process.
- Enable cross-functional alignment and transparency by communicating key decisions and actions clearly at all levels and ensuring portfolio roadmap is maintained up-to-date.
- Track progress against strategic objectives and business outcomes, escalate any risks and/or impediments and track actions to resolution.
- Report on key portfolio metrics providing clarity and transparency to the organization on the portfolio performance.
- Support Portfolio investment allocation decisions, track budget and capacity at portfolio level.
- Support Portfolio level Discovery process, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate Portfolio review sessions to validate outcomes achievement for completed initiatives to enable feedback loops and drive investment decisions.
- Continuously improve portfolio governance to ensure light-weight, effective processes to enable high-value delivery in shorter cycles, with faster feedback loops.

**Key Experience & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in a Business / Technology / Engineering or related degree.
- Previous experience in portfolio management, product operations or management within an Agile high-tech, multidisciplinary environment.
- Understanding of competencies and principles of Lean Portfolio Management.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong working experience with one or more product lifecycle management and reporting tools (Aha, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, etc.).
- Live and role-model ESW values - Champion Simplicity, Debate and Commit, Own it, Win as One.

**Desired Skills**
- Experience of working in scaled agile environment with and with frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum at Scale.
- SAFe training/certification beneficial.
- Product Analyst/Product Owner/Product Manager experience.
- Product training.
