**Role Overview**:
We’re seeking a Mid-weight Back-end Engineer to contribute to our product development and system scalability. You'll join a growing team that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. You'll collaborate closely with the full stack engineer, tech lead and product owner, driving technical implementations and ensuring high-quality solutions.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product design and implementation.
- Solve complex technical challenges with high business impact.
- Contribute to system architecture and code reviews.
- Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
**Our Tech Stack**:
- Cloud: AWS EC2
- Main Frameworks: NestJS, FastAPI
- Languages: Typescript, Javascript and Python
- Databases: Postgres and NoSql
- Front-end: Svelte, React
- Containerization: Docker
- AI/ML: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Message Broker: RabbitMQ (nice-to-have)
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with NestJS and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Experience in database design, management, and optimization.
- Proven track record in project implementation and delivery.
- Proficiency in Git workflows and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Focus on building scalable, API-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of inter-process communication and microservices
**Desired Skills (Bonus Points)**:
- Passion for scalable systems and developer tools.
- Familiarity with automating software build and delivery pipelines.
- Interest in machine learning and AI technologies.
- Public project repositories (e.g., GitHub/Bitbucket) showcasing your work.
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud platforms.
- Open-source contributions or maintenance experience.
