**Job Description**:
The Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring operational security within the region and each laboratory in scope.

This role is part of the Regional IT Security Office for multiple European businesses of the Eurofins Group (Agroscience, BioPharma, Technologies, Consumer Product Testing Europe).

The scope includes:

- **Approvals**: Approve sensitive access and firewall rules,
- **Reviews**: Recertify accesses, firewall rules, etc. Review the existing configuration (AD, Intune, Office 365, Azure, etc.) to ensure that it is in line with expectations and security best-practices,
- **Change**: Review and approve any change to the IT infrastructure,
- **Testing**: Perform vulnerability scans at Regional and Lab level and ensure that remediation is done. Work with Group Security to organize penetration testing when needed,
- **Incidents**: Assist in investigation of security breaches and security intelligence reported by Group SOC,
- **Advisory**:

- Work with newly acquired laboratories to improve their security posture based on our list of mandatory security improvements, and with the support of a Senior Security Analyst,
- **Reporting**: Support the build-up of operational Security KPIs and recommend improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- At ease with managing multiple priorities, ambiguity and a rapidly moving business environment.
- Quick learner, autonomous and adaptable.
- Attentive to details and with a problem-solving approach.
- At ease with large, complex IT environments.
- Expertise in information security: cloud security, vulnerability assessment, etc.
- Expertise in general IT concepts (Active Directory, Office 365, Cloud, systems administration) and knowledge of modern networking (micro-segmentation, hyperconvergence).
- Certifications in Cybersecurity appreciated.
