The Claim Representative’s primary responsibility is to process and complete customer and provider submitted claims.
**Responsibilities**:
Work in a production environment, where success is measured by the speed and accuracy of your work. It’s critical to resolve issues quickly, but also to avoid making the problem worse by committing another mistake. Success in this role will be built on a balance between productivity and attention to detail. We will approach a complaint as an opportunity to please a dissatisfied customer by providing an effective, complete and speedy resolution.
Rely on a well-developed set of functional and technical claim skills developed over years of claim experience. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of highly trained, highly experienced claim analysts with a diverse set of skills, ready to solve any problem presented by the Cigna Global customer base. Training in this role will seek to add skills related to problem solving, effective communication, in-depth research, root cause detection, data analysis and more.
Be a Subject Matter Expert in your field. We need people who know the Cigna Global claim world intimately, and have a deep knowledge of the systems, tools and processes used throughout the department.
**Qualifications**:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2+ years’ experience in Cigna Global Health Benefits, (CGHB) preferred, not required.
Bilingual language skills in English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Korean or any other language preferred.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed performance metrics such as productivity and quality.
Adept computer skills, with experience navigating multiple systems to complete a single task.
Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
