**About the job**
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the hotel's Purchasing Department, as Store Supervisor you will assist the Director of Purchasing in overseeing the hotel’s business control related to storage management. The position will collaborate with the Purchasing Supervisor.
As Stores Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Storage Management:
- Ensure compliance with purchasing and storage policies.
- Monitor par stock levels and establish new ones in coordination with the procurement department.
- Enforce compliance with MOHG's storage management policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the receiving area and storage remain clean and always organized.
- Goods Reception:
- Ensure compliance with the quality criteria required by MOMAL, following the requested standards.
- Conduct comprehensive delivery control, including quantity, product quality, transport condition, transport cleanliness, transport and product temperature, etc.
- Verify that the quantity and quality of received products meet the purchase order specifications.
- Notify relevant departments of product reception in a timely manner.
- Ensure that no products are received without an approved purchase order, except in exceptional cases with prior authorization.
- Document Management:
- Record all deliveries in the purchasing system alongside the storage operator.
- Register and archive temperature logs for deliveries.
- Document, track, and report incidents related to deliveries.
- Process orders, invoices, delivery notes, and credit notes.
**As Store Supervisor, we expect from you**:
- Studies in warehouse management, food and beverage, or business management.
- At least 2-3 years experience in Hospitality industry in Mallorca.
- Previous experience in storekeeping within a luxury hotel in Mallorca or good knowledge of the Balearic market.
- Experience in inventory control, goods reception, and maintaining an organized and clean stockroom.
- Responsible, structured, and detail-focused person.
- Ability to coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth stock flow.
- Good command of databases and Excel; experience with systems like Moreton is a plus.
- English is not required but will be positively valued.
- A valid work permit for Spain is required.
