**About the Position**
In this role, you'll collaborate with BB's Head of Communications to create a wide range of visual assets that promote and publicize work across the company. Your focus will be preparing content for social media and case studies—repurposing client projects for external audiences—while also art directing and designing original content for journal articles and internal projects.
Your work will highlight key features of client projects across disciplines, including product and digital design, branding, machine learning, and AI. You should feel comfortable translating complex concepts and final products into compelling visuals for potential clients, industry peers, and broader audiences.
This position is ideal for a mid-level designer who can work independently. You’ll agree on the visual direction with the Head of Communications before proceeding with designs. You'll also collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to ensure content accuracy and quality.
This is a part-time position, working two days per week. The exact days can be decided on together.
**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ experience of working in an agency or similar freelance positions, with the ability to iterate quickly and deliver work to a deadline
- Appreciation of how to take an editorial approach to communications, creating visual assets in support of a larger message and adapting this material to different platforms and use cases
- Keen interest in digital projects, interactive design, branding and concept-led design, but also an awareness of/interest in all our disciplines and the relevant visual approaches for each
- Fluent in After Effects, Figma, Adobe CC software
- Ability to work with design systems across multiple mediums (digital, 2D, 3D, motion)
- Experience with 3D, coding, generative design, audio production, AR and VR is a plus
