Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion. We have a very strong technical team from which you will be able to learn, but are encouraged by new ideas and fresh thinking that you will bring with you. **How you will make an impact?** We are seeking an experienced and talented Site Reliability Engineer to join the WebBeds Engineering Team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will empower our users with a rich feature set, high availability & performance level to achieve their goals. We are seeking someone with a real passion for travel, a passion for technology combined with great communication skills, technological insight & an eagerness to grow. We are looking for people that are not afraid to try new things and develop new technologies for an ever-changing scenario. Elements to this role include, but not limited to: - Run the production environment by monitoring availability and system health. - Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market our software solutions. - Measure and optimize system performance, pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and constantly innovating to improve. - Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures. - Working closely with developers, especially when issues arise to help with troubleshooting and provide consultation & prevention. - Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. - Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts. - Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives. - Cross team collaboration across the full IT department & wider business as required to align on systems support & processes. * The skills we would love to see in your suitcase* - Ideally around 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer capacity. - Code experience in one of the following languages Go, C, C++, Rust, Python (other languages will be considered based on experience). - A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. - An eagerness to learn, develop & constantly improve with a flexible mindset & approach to technology. - Core interest in the Travel industry, with a passion for technology and expertise in this area although Travel industry experience is not necessity. - Knowledge around cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Azure. - Experienced using the Linux oper
