About the role:
As an Underwriting Assistant, based in our Barcelona office, you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals that focus on developing our Financial Lines business. You will directly report to the Financial Lines Manager and perform traditional administrative tasks, as well as supporting the team’s business development goals. You will be key in helping to build profitable relationships with brokers and insureds and your role will fully support and comply with the company’s objectives and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact between Underwriters and Administrative Center-
- Prepare reports for underwriters’ meetings/trips-
- Credit Control management-
- Problem-solving accounting/system issues on complex submissions-
- Request new submissions entries to internal administration platforms-
- Back-up for Underwriter to Quote and Bind-
- Contributes with our marketing team to organization of local eventsSkills And Competencies Required:
- Fluent proficiency in French and English-
- BA or MA degree-
- Experience in Administrative position-
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word (Microsoft)Skills And Competencies Preferred:
- Fluent proficiency in Dutch, Swedish or Danish-
- Experience in Insurance industry-
