**MCM-2207** **HEMATOLOGY MARKETING CONSULTANT** **BARCELONA** **Hematology Marketing Consultant** will be responsible for improving the level of scientif ic product knowledge in the areas of "neuroradiology" (70%) and "cardiovascular operating rooms (CVOR)" (30%) in Spain, Portugal and Italy. He will promote latest clinical practices and key medical strategies, and will work in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards, guidelines, and directives. The role is that of a medical-scientif ic, technical expert who maintains relationships with important medical experts, opinion leaders and other interest groups (such as the pharmaceutical industry and device manufacturers). **Key Accountabilities** - Prepares signif icant scientific information for customers and makes this available to - them; trains customers in the clinical use of the product. - Establishes close relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), other clinical experts, - reference centers, and other interest groups within the def ined regions - Discusses scientif ic and clinical aspects with the various interest groups in the areas of - "Neuroradiology" and "Cardiology" - Def ines a network of experts; supports organizations and their meetings to exchange and disseminate protocols and clinical knowledge - Supports branches in the organization of workshops and seminars at national congresses - and conferences - Builds networks and close relationships with national and international societies for - neurointervention, anesthesiology, and cardiac surgery, with the aim of having - thrombocyte function testing included in guidelines, directives, and further - recommendations - Promotes clinical trials for the product and supports their publication in specialist journals - Plays a key role in supporting scientif ic activities in order to encourage relationships - between companies and complementary industries (e.g. manufacturers of medical - products, pharmaceutical industry). **Requirements**: - University Degree in life sciences or equivalent - Deep knowledge in hemostasis in general with specif ic expertise in platelet aggregation. - Knowledge of scientif ic concepts related to the design and analysis of clinical trials and studies. - Data Management and Informatics: with specif ic focus on how data are acquired and managed during a clinical trials. - Capability to present clearly and ef fectively. - Fluent English is mandatory. - Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience and/or business related experience in the areas of hematology (platelet aggregation) or neuroradiology. - Proven experience in research and/or clinical trials and scientif ic publications.
