**Chef de Partie / Demi Chef de Partie**

**Position requirements**:

- Be able to follow instructions and rules for efficient operation of the kitchen
- Ability to selectand use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl and other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items
- Can participate and be trained for the proper preparation of menu items
- Ensure proper receiving, storage (including temperature monitoring) of food products to comply with health department regulations
- Reports directly to the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine

**Skills & abilities**:

- Minimum of two years' experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a similar size operation
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish.
- Requires good communication skills
- Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions
- Thorough working knowledge of cold / hot food preparation

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent education required
- Must possess basic computational ability
