Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. Over 2 million Selling Partners in 10 countries list their products for sale on Amazon Marketplace. We obsess over providing world class support to Merchants selling on Amazon. EU authorities continue to introduce new legislation that makes it challenging for Selling Partners to comply and do business across Europe. Until now, our team has covered VAT and product compliance regulations, but as of today we add Sustainability into our journey. This change in Sustainability landscape required Amazon to take the forefront on Selling Partners’ compliance, starting with educating them on its requirements in Europe through enabling them to pick the right solution and, ultimately, taking action in the case of non-compliance. The person in this role will support Amazon Selling Partners on their journey to grow their businesses and sell across Europe, meeting all their sustainable compliance needs. Key job responsibilities - Coordinate with global teams to communicate and train local teams on product/program launches to drive adoption and feedback. - Work closely with internal partner teams to create, refine and localize processes leading to operational efficiency and seller success. - Liaise with other departments as well as external parties such as, business teams, Program Managers, Global teams or Service Providers to resolve Seller’s issues and questions. Establish strong relationships and trust by creating effective communications channels, and providing insightful solutions/analysis. - Demonstrates effective, clear and professional written and oral communication. Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills and identifies trends to appropriate channel including improvement suggestion. - Demonstrate ability to manage, encourage and develop team; drive multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation. - Maintains a positive and professional demeanor, always portraying the company in a positive light and effectively managing sensitive issues. - Communicate clearly and professionally with senior leadership in reporting, delivering project updates, and handling escalations. A day in the life Our Mission is to drive Sellers’ development across the challenging path of compliance in EU. Every year, the European Authorities issue new legislation related to VAT, Sustainability and/or Product Compliance to regulate the EU marketplace(s). Therefore, most of Amazon Selling Partners need to be educated and guided to ensure their compliance and operations in EU. Our team does that by proactively engaging them through written communications and follow up calls. Our engagement plan is built taking into account the new requirements´ deadlines and is based on a risk analysis. Our strategic approach already drove compliance across several tax and product compliance related requirements across Europe. About the team We are a team born in 2018. We started our journey with a team of 15 individuals which has now grown to 300+ team members in 6 regions. We represent more than 25 nationalities and 51% female talent.
