Overview

JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for a TBO Accountant to join our Treasury team to cover a paternity leave. You will be part of the European Shared Service Center in Madrid.

The TBO Accountant has as key responsabilities

  • Assist on the daily operations of Treasury’ Back Office area
  • Analyze treasury accounting services provided to the operating units and provide assistance in the review, evaluation, and negotiation of improvements in the quality and cost competitiveness of such services.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement best ways of working.
  • FX revaluation entries and other treasury related entries when required.

**Responsibilities**

  • Daily Bank Statement uploads/postings for several Business Units in Europe
  • Daily bank reconciliations (payments and receipts).
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting.
  • Act on a proactive manner to implement better solutions to improve ink between different ERPs and Banks.
  • Weekly/Monthly Forecast submission and review.
  • Actively participate in projects relating to the implementation of ways to streamline the manual processes, in order to make them more effective and automatic.
  • Assist in auditor’s reviews’, either internal, external or SOX reviews.
  • Support in FX revaluation entries at month end: FX differences analysis.
  • Support to Intercompany Loan Maintenance (European funding).
  • Assist in ad-hoc treasury accounting projects as required.
  • Month end reporting to JBT SSC Management - Operations Review and KPIs delivery and analysis.

Qualifications

**Education/Experience**

  • Graduate in Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Treasury & Accounting in multinational company.

**Skills**

  • Treasury accounting knowledge: bank statements postings, banks reconciliations, advance payments
  • Treasury knowledge: banking, cash management, bank business distribution.
  • Transactional processes and problem solving.
  • SOX/Internal Controls knowledge.
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excel macros knowledge.
  • Data Accuracy.
  • Strong ability to work with mínimal supervision.

**Mobility**

  • Position based in Madrid (San Fernando de Henares)
  • Limited travelling within European Union or USA might be required
