**Job Description** What you’ll do**

We are looking for a Host/Hostess to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the Guidance of the Outlet Manager you’ll be responsible for creating a perfect first impression on all guests entering the restaurant/bar, while strategizing the flow of clients, securing large parties and events and ensuring guest have a flawless experience:

- Greet all guests warmly and by name, escort guests to their table, provide chair assistance for all guests, and menu presentation.
- Host large parties when scheduled.
- Ensure ambiance is appropriate, including music, temperature, lighting.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Approach guest and collect information needed to assist with seat and bar arrangements.
- Constantly provide guests with accurate information about property as well as entertainment offered.

**Qualifications** What we are looking for...**
- Degree with emphasis in Hospitality/Restaurant management.
- +2 years of experience in hospitality within hotels/bars with high volume of food & beverage in a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
