**Solar PV plant construction international - national projects (Spain)**
**Functions and responsibilities**:
During the construction time the required position and functions are those of a site manager working as the responsible owners’ engineer on site, supervising and monitoring the fulfilment of the EPC Contract by the construction company, proving among others the following functions and services with the support of the back-office team of engineers in Madrid and in coordination with OCA´s quality control inspectors (QC):

- Project time schedule monitoring with regular reporting requirements and possible corrective actions in coordination with the client’s project manager
- Hold regular progress (daily, weekly & monthly) meetings with the EPC Contractor to review project progress, project design, technical issues, and measures to achieve the targeted cost, quality and schedule control.
- Review and confirm the delivery of material to the site, especially the delivery of key components (PV modules, trackers, inverters, LV/MV Transformers, Power Transformers, HV circuit breakers & MV feeders).
- Review and confirm the Quality Assurance Program of the EPC Contractor and review and confirm the quantity and quality of works completed, which would serve as a basis for and approving payment to EPC contractor also in respect of invoices
- Electrical (MV/HV, AC, DC)
- Civil works (hydrological studies, drainages, foundations, roads, buildings, etc.)
- Mechanical (supporting structures, trackers, etc.)
- I&C (Monitoring, SCADA, security system, etc.)
- Time & Budget control
- Work progress estimation
- Document control (including DMS) invoicing
- Weekly and monthly status meetings & reporting on-site or at employers’ premises
- Variation and claim management
- Insurance cases
- That the performance of the works is correct and in accordance with the project’s specification and permit obligation.
- Technical support to the Client team in all the technical matter arising during the construction phase.

**Work location**
- Construction monitoring & control on site: Spain or International
- Travelling to third part countries might be required on demand

**Education requirements**

BSC in engineering: electrical, mechanical o civil engineering,

**Professional **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar positions, including references in large scale solar PV projects

**Languages**
- English: Native or full professional proficiency, with fluency in speaking and writing for international projects
- Spanish: professional competence
- French and/or Arabic would be favourably considered

**Other personal competencies**
- Efficient communication, meeting organization and reporting
- Proactivity and flexibility
- Results and clients’ need oriented
- Efficient problem resolution and under pressure working
- Knowledge and experience in MS Project and/or Primavera software.
- Level Expert in MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- International accreditable studies and driving license required

**CONTRACTING CONDITIONS**
- Temporary limited to project duration
- Working time: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
