VHIR offers a vacant position for a laboratory technician with experience in vitro experiments and management needs.
FVPR/U20 is a service platform offering customized assays for the production and functional validation of diagnostic or therapeutic compounds. FVPR/U20 is also part of the ICTS-Nanbiosis, a reference infrastructure in the development of biomaterials and nanomedicines. FVPR/U20 operates under the ISO9001:2015 quality management system.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in biosciences (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, etc.)

**Desired**:

- Fluency in Spanish and English.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- At least 1 year of experience in laboratory work.
- Lab management skills (analytical, organizational and time management).
- Good computer skills, especially in MS Office.

**Desired**:

- Experience in cell and bacterial culture.
- We are looking for a person who has a proven hands-on attitude, flexible and adaptable. Additionally, the following personals skills are desirable:

- Teamwork
- Proactivity (ability to work independently when necessary)
- Well-organized and responsible person at work

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Support to in vitro experimentation, from basic cell and mycoplasma culturing, to molecular biology.
- Support to in vivo experimentation, processing of mouse tissue samples, from plasma and serum extraction and tissue homogenization.
- Data registry.
- Administrative and laboratory management tasks.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position (40 h/week).
- Incorporation: 01/05/2025
- Length of the contract: Up to 31/12/2025
- Gross annual salary for graduated Technician: 22.823,22€ (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
