**SCOPE**:
- We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller at Ingenico Iberia, and will lead the Controlling & Reporting area inside the Finance Group
- Work based in Madrid (hybrid model) and report to the CFO for Ingenico Iberia & Africa
**MAIN TASKS**:
This position will be driving financial disciplines across controlling & reporting, budgeting and forecasting and will act as a partner with the operational teams.
Position is responsible on the following areas:
- Financial Statements controlling and monitoring (P&L, BLNC and Cash-Flow), as well as definition and execution of the different calendars, checks,, within the rest of the Finance Area (Accounting, Billing & Collections, Payments, Taxes,)
- Liaise with other areas within Ingenico (Operations, Sales, R&D,) in providing incisive information on business performance, identifying key issues and trends to enable business decisions to be made, as well as to discuss financial performance.
- Production of:
- Drive the annual budgeting process
- Ad hoc financial analysis and regular forecasting
- Monthly / quarterly / yearly reporting, with qualitative explanation of actual variance
- Margin analysis, cash costs & project monitoring
- Review and provide commentary on monthly performance liaising with applicable managers to ensure that all variances are investigated and explained
- Work on the continuous improvement of management reporting systems, processes, controls and output, to ensure they are robust and allow for the reporting of this dynamic business experiencing continued expansion.
- Work with the CFO in preparing business case for projects
- Continuously evaluating progress & enriching information to effectively & professionally communicate to other areas within the company at Ingenico
- Oversee the external accountants in reporting financial performance
**PROFILE**:
- Master’s degree graduate from business school or university with a major in Finance.
- A previous experience in Financial Controlling is a must. You have an extensive experience of financial reporting systems and procedures, minimum 7 years.
- Audit will be a “plus” as well as any knowledge surrounding IT / Telco / Software industry.
- You master the use of Excel & financial tools such as SAP / BFC / TM-1, Microsoft Office knowledge in Capitalization, IFRS and Tax credit knowledge will be a strong asset to succeed on this position
- Able to speak and write in English and Spanish
**SOFT SKILLS**:
- Ability to communicate and interact in matrix / multi country (international) environment
- An experienced accountant in the real estate sector
- Experienced in working in an international environment
- Highly numerate and excellent analytical ability
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player
- Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to translate complex information for a non-finance audience
