We are seeking a Senior civil engineer

**Responsibilities will be**
- Supervise and manage the delivery of several projects and packages of work for highway design for light rail projects.
- Lead a small team of engineers/technicians. It is expected that a Senior Engineer will take a leading role in their own development and learning as well as actively supporting the development of their team, demonstrating diligence and professionalism in day-to-day activities and taking responsibility for contributing to the growth of team’s knowledge base.
- Maintain and develop good relationships with clients.
- Responsible for the technical delivery of the design of the highway and also driving delivery to meet project deadlines.
- Provide solutions to technical problems and write factual and interpretative technical reports or delivery with mínimal supervision. Manage own time and provide a supporting role to the management of less experienced staff and plan and monitor workloads to achieve project demands.
- Have a degree in civil engineering and have at least five years of experience working in similar positions
- A strong technical background within the field of highway design:

- Extensive recent experience and demonstrable skills in highway alignment, highways design, pavement design, drainage, junction design, road marking, traffic management, longitudinal sections, traffic order compliance, civil engineering, and drafting skills
- Experience in highway interface with Light Rail Tram systems.
- Experience in an outward-facing capacity as a design team representative in dealings with clients on technical matters.
- Strong IT skills and be fully conversant with design software packages, Civil 3D (or other 3D modelling software such as PDS) and Microdrainage.
- Fluent English and Spanish are essential - both written and verbal (C1)
- Position in Zamudio, Spain
