A PhD student position is available in the framework of the ERC-Synergy grant Chiral-Pro, GA nº 101166855. The research will be carried out at CIC biomaGUNE, in San Sebastián (Spain), in close collaboration with the Catalan Institute of Chemical Research, ICIQ (Tarragona, Spain). The work will involve the use of computational methods (DFT and Machine Learning Strategies) to understand the adsorption of chiral and non-chiral ligands and surfactants on metal nanoparticles.
**Required Education Level**:
A master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related area, is required; experience in computational chemistry tools such as Density Functional Theory, Molecular Dynamics, Machine Learning, notions or Crystallography or excellent 3D visual skills etc., are highly desirable.
