**Strategy and M&A Senior Manager - Madrid**:
**Hybrid: 4 days a week in the office, 1 day working from home**

**About the Job**:
The Strategy team sets the direction for the company across different markets and industries. You are expected to understand the market dynamics and build a network in the community for priority areas. You will identify growth opportunities and work out a plan to achieve these. You will find potential partners and targets for acquisitions and run the M&A process if the opportunity arises.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Articulate and steer the company's strategic vision
- Develop growth strategies based on market research and insights, market dynamics and regulatory shifts in collaboration with other teams
- Build a network to unearth M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Analyze and model financials for M&A to guide sound investment decisions.
- Lead M&A from scouting to integration, ensuring strategic coherence and value addition.
- Report on strategic progress, communicate KPIs and glean actionable insights for management.
- Champion innovation and drive continuous operational improvements.

**Background & Competencies**:

- Proven expertise in leading M&A transactions and/or strategic investments across corporate, private equity, or venture capital landscapes.
- Solid background in crafting corporate strategy, either in-house or via top-tier management consulting-firm experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, key players, valuation mechanisms, gleaned from hands-on industry experience or investment analysis. Up-to-date on emerging trends and regulatory developments.
- Relevant experience with APAC, Middle East, or African fintech markets is highly desirable.
- Established network within the industry.
- Exceptional financial modelling skills coupled with strong analytical acuity.
- Possession of an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- Superior communication and presentation capabilities, with proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English, complemented by strong written and verbal prowess. Fluency in additional languages is greatly valued for international market and partner engagement.
- Adaptability to thrive in dynamic settings and to revise strategies in response to changing business landscapes.
