Your Responsibilities
As a System Engineer you take over the responsibility for Design, planning and deployment of Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Azure SQL Database infrastructures
You will take over responsibility for Operation, monitoring and optimisation of business-critical database systems (cloud or on-premise)
You will administer, configure and implement database systems in standalone and cluster operation
You will have the opportunity to develop processes and enhance the service
You are interested to develop solutions within your ownership, while you collaborate with others in projects, and stay interested in new technologies
You respond fast on requests or solve efficient incidents, with a service oriented and customer focused mind set
You have a strong interest working in a distributed team
Bachelor in the field of computer science, successfully completed IT training, or comparable. We also welcome career changers with a high affinity for IT and at least 3 years of professional experience
Analytical thinking, act process-oriented, independent and structured worker, you come with a distinctive customer orientation
Sound professional experience in the field of Administration and operation of Microsoft SQL servers and strengths in the conception and implementation of solutions in the DBA environment
Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE) sound knowledge in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Virtualisation (VMWare, Dogger, Kubernetes) and Administration, powershell scripting, experience is a plus
Knowledge on project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP aequivalent) is welcome
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Fluent (in writing and speaking) in English. Knowledge of German language is a plus
