Bachelor or Master’s degree

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will create and own the strategic relationship with suppliers and senior internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organizational boundaries. You will develop key sourcing activities, ensuring equipment and service availability to meet business goals while minimizing risk. You will be the trusted advisor in strategic sourcing, procurement initiatives and contract management. You will work side-by-side with your stakeholders to deliver the best customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Maintain and improve Contract Management
- Identify, develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process with senior leadership.
- Drive commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance;
- Lead supplier performance management; including improving sustainability & social responsibility;
- Coordinate and collaborate with Global/local teams to deploy and manage the implementation of your defined strategies.

About the team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and program management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
