By offering the best and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software, Ansys helps companies solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination. **Summary / Role Purpose** The Facilities Operations professional is a key contributor role within Ansys Real Estate and Facilities that is directly responsible for ensuring consistent and optimized processes and services are delivered to internal customers throughout Spain and Greece. Portfolio changes and acquisitions may allow for this initial geographic scope to evolve over time. This position includes the delivery of real estate projects supporting the growth of Ansys in the geography. This position ensures high levels of customer satisfaction for multiple internal customers, while driving the success of strategic and tactical real estate management goals. **Key Duties and Responsibilities** In this geography: - Coordination of day to day facilities operations including preventative maintenance, repairs, security, health & safety, janitorial services. - Driving the completion of new office implementations in support of business expansion - Assisting with physical relocations, existing office renovations, expansions and closures - Tracking and proactively developing space occupancy planning to manage capacity and growth - Assisting with competitive bidding, vendor contract negotiation and orders & payment processing - Building and maintaining key internal customer relationships to support collaborative planning and employee experience. Building and maintaining key external partner relationships with landlords and vendors - Assisting with regional budget and total cost of ownership for each facility and related services ensuring, in close coordination with the EMEA regional team as well as Accounting and Finance. - Driving operational efficiency, implementing standardized processes. - Supporting the Regional Facilities Manager in various real estate activities within the geography: site selection, acquisitions, lease negotiation, renewals and dispositions, property management and space & occupancy management **Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**: - Bachelor's degree in real estate preferred;alternatively, individuals could have gained the same level of knowledge and skill through on-the-job experience and training.Professional registration or Master's degree a plus - A minimum of 5years of relevant experience in a facilities and/or real estate role - Stakeholder engagement to execute on business strategy and project business unit requirements for the workplace, infrastructure, real property, and facilities, including impact on the portfolio plan - Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel - Knowledge of at least one major Facilities platform is a plus. - Possesses strong communications, customer service, presentation and change management skills - Financial and business acumen in multiple cultural environments - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
