**What will be your role?**
Get on board of the PayFit rocket by joining the Engineering team as a
- **Director of Engineering** of a
- **new tribe.**
- You will report directly to the CTO and drive some of the most strategic initiatives for scaling the business operations.
- You will be responsible for:
- building your tribe from the ground up to accelerate business process automation & scalability
- setting goals for the team and delivering results according to the defined strategy
- working closely with business partners in various functions & countries to build a relevant strategy
- working closely with peers & other tribes to ensure the sustainability, interoperability and scalability of solutions
- Improving the efficiency of our organization by offering technical solutions to operational bottlenecks
**This job has been tailored for you if**:
- You have the following qualities:
- At least 10 years of experience as a hands-on Software Engineer
- At least 4 years of experience as a manager
- Proven track record in designing and building highly complex systems
- Ability to prioritize well, and drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, and opinionated team
- Ability to work in a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills
- Mastery of English (spoken & written)
We would be even more impressed if you:
- Have held a similar position in a 100+ Engineering organization
- Have experience in handling complex automation
- Have worked in an international environment
- Have experience managing managers
- Have experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as part of your toolbelt
**Hiring process**:

- Background check to verify your identity, diploma, and past professional experience in the context of your ISO27001 certification
