**About the Role**
The Cost Controller will support the controlling activities related to budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial performance monitoring. This role is key in ensuring data-driven decisions that support the operational and strategic goals of the company.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and analyze the company costs identifying deviations with the expectations, underlining cost trends and working with the department owners on corrective actions.
- Execute monthly closing activities and reporting related to costs (Opex and Capex), Inventory and general financial statement.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes focusing on Cost Management, Inventory, Capitalizations and other elements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering) to ensure expected economic results, accurate cost allocation and data transparency.
- Develop and maintain standard costing and cost structures in SAP.
- Perform analysis on cost structure, investments and Inventory
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and business performance reviews.
**What You Need to Be Successful**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in controlling and/or cost analysis, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a consulting firm or Machinery Industry is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proactive and critical thinking attitude with a business-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English is a plus;
