**INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL WRITER**

**Barcelona**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
In the midst of a sustained growth spurt based on excellent client partnerships and a strong business development plan, CDM Barcelona are again looking for outstanding talent to bring into the agency. Attitude is everything, so we’re looking for a creative and innovative Medical Writer who can grow with us.

**Attributes and Key Responsibilities**

The Medical Writer's work focuses on developing scientific content (from slide decks to monographs, promotional materials, abstracts, article reviews, congress reports and more).

Tasks included in the assignments:

- Devising medical and publication strategy
- Competitive intelligence analysis
- Bibliographic background research
- Writing materials
- Providing full reference sets
- Incorporating all feedback provided by the client in a proper and timely manner
- KOL management

**Skills & Experience**:

- Must have a health science degree (e.g. in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus
- 2-3 years of medical writing experience
- Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences
- Key Opinion Leaders management
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines
- Native/Bilingual English speaker
- Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers
- Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus
