Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. **THE ROLE**

The mission of Product Operations at Utopia is to empower our cross-functional Product Creation Teams (a.k.a. Squads) to be outcome driven, customer focused, and operate in an environment that encourages continuous discovery and delivery.

As the Principal Product Operations Manager you will report to the VP of Product Creation Operations. Together, you will partner with the Strategy & Operations teams, the Product Creation Extended Leadership Team, as well as the different Product Operations teams across Utopia Music’s Business Units.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will act as a **thought leader** and trusted expert to establish a strong product-centric culture, extending your expert knowledge of product management mechanisms and best practices across the different BUs and their Squads.
- You will act as a product leader within the organization and mentor to other colleagues by acting as a **role model** for successful product practices.
- Support the PC Leadership & their BUs in **reporting** on goals, outcomes, roadmaps, progress, capacity, and costs across their organization, translating these activities into financial implications for the company executives.
- Collaborate with other product and business leaders across Utopia Music to discover, deliver, launch and optimize the most ambitious and complex initiatives in Utopia Music.
- Partner with leadership across the various functions in the company to **standardize cross-functional product processes** that go across business units and teams, such as strategy cadences, experimentation tracking and feedback, documentation on product features, collecting data, setting goals, creating and maintaining roadmaps, and sales enablement.
- Partner with Data, Customer Operations, Commercial, Design, UX Research, and the Market Insights Team to systematically surface customer & business insights to support Squads in their **product discovery** and **product optimization** activities.
- Work closely with your teams to implement process improvements to help the team improve their **product delivery** practices.
- Operationalize product launches in partnership with Squads and their go-to-market counterparts to take products from ideation to GA.
- Partner with the Customer Operations, Product Marketing, and your Squads to create and maintain **product documentation** that is leveraged to deliver a consistent customer experience across touchpoints
- Continuously streamline and automate the above practices.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- You have extensive experience launching multiple complex customer-facing products to global markets as a product manager leader.
- You are an expert in techniques and methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, product launch & product optimization.
- You are an expert in gathering business & customer insights and identifying trends from data, including combination of data from multiple sources and influencing stakeholders with data.
- You are an expert in driving change in large organizations ideally in a growth-stage startup.
- It is second-nature for you to to lead complex cross-functional projects or programs with several competing cross-functional stakeholders in the context of building and delivering technology products to market.
- You are the go-to person for the senior product leaders in your organization.
- You’re an effective networker, and can own and drive topics without much central steering. You build your personal network and identify interdependencies or sources of mutual value to create optimal solutions.
- You are fluent in English - both written and verbal. Your message is crisp, clear and to the point, both in verbal and writte
