We are currently looking for an **Associate** **Legal Counsel **who wants to join our team. You will help us in delivering, managing and supporting our legal work.

**What will you do?**

As mentioned, you will be responsible for delivering, managing and supporting our legal work. You will be involved across a variety of areas in the legal team, but your focus will be Regulatory & Compliance. You will be responsible of:

- Providing support in the development, management and implementation of the CMS (Compliance Management System)
- Advising Novicap's departments on compliance issues
- Providing support in the development and maintenance of the compliance culture
- Preparing and managing training for each department
- Assisting in identifying, investigating, reporting and correction of compliance issues, irregularities and violations
- Assisting in ensuring legal obligations are followed and that we are in good standing with regulatory agencies
- Conducting research to provide compliance recommendations, advice on upcoming/emerging regulations and evaluation impacts
- Managing assigned projects

In doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap’s long-term growth plans

**Who will you be working with?**

You will work closely with the rest of the Legal team, based in Barcelona, and the rest of colleagues across Madrid and Barcelona. A young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open

**You are de right fit if you**:

- Are based in Barcelona
- Are graduated and qualified as Spanish corporate lawyer
- Have 1-2 years of experience as practicing lawyer in a law firm, or as legal counsel in a financial services company, a technology company, or a bank
- Have keen interest in fintech and work in an entrepreneurial team-based environment
- Have a high level of English that allows you to work in the language. We are a multicultural team with presence in other countries
