**BNP PARIBAS NICKEL** is looking for a Financial Controller who will be responsible to perform and monitor the management accounting of the company. He/She will control the accounting figures and processes executed by the Shared Service Center.

Management accountants analyze key financial information to optimize financial planning. They assist senior business managers with financial decision-making, prepare financial reports, and develop and implement strategies to reduce businesses' operational and production costs

**The main missions are**:

- Perform and monitor controls on management accounting figures, ensuring differences are highlighted and adjusted.
- Perform follow-up within business units in order to assess both effectiveness and efficiency of existing controls
- Compilation and review of the monthly closings of the company.
- Provide appropriate reporting to Management, Committees and others
- Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
- Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning.
- Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks.

**Requirements**:

- University Degree in Business Administration or Economy.
- Previous experience as a financial controller in accounting departments or in a similar role will be valuable.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Outstanding analytical, numerical abilities and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advance either English and/or French mandatory. Portuguese will be a plus
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Detail-oriented
