We are looking for a Shot TD / 3D Generalist to join the studio and be part of the development of High Quality CGI projects.

**Job description**:
Under the guidance of the Supervisor, the Shot TD ensures that all assets are caching properly for final lighting and is responsible for making necessary fixes to geometry to resolve issues such as intersections and penetrations.
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve technical problems related to caching.
- Assess and repair animated assets to respect the creative and technical requirements for the lighting/compositing department (i.e. floating, tangents, intersections, pops, abnormal deformation, jitters, etc.).
- Assist with the quality check process of shots moving through the pipeline.
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Flag repeat fix requirements and propose solutions.
- Publish QC'd shots from Animation into Lighting.
- Use Shotgrid to track shots

**Software**:

- Maya
- Solid knowledge in Nuke is a plus
- Knowledge of Python is a plus

**Profile required**
- 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Solid modelling, animation and rigging skills and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely. Practices attentive and active listening. Shares information and ideas with others. Incorporates feedback and direction received from the Lead or Supervisor.
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated and pro-active.
- Efficient and detail oriented.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Adaptable to change quickly depending on the production needs.
- Ability to deliver assignments on time
- Understanding and speaking English essential
