Are you looking to join a global Technical Art community? We’re looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join the Candy Crush Saga team

**Your role within our Kingdom**:
As a Senior Technical Artist, you’ll be a key member of the tech art team, helping tackle problems, collaborate on features and workflows, building tools and pushing boundaries You will work closely with different creative crafts and colleagues within Candy Crush, but your influence stretches globally at King providing support, assistance and drive quality for key projects. This role reports to the Associate Tech Art Director.

The Senior Technical Artist generally encompasses deep knowledge of tech art craft, leading key projects and providing mentorship with responsibility to support technical art direction and processes, aligned to goals. We'll look to you to support the technical art strategy and vision to improve King’s largest game - Candy Crush.

Within the Art Organisation, we need an understanding of the capabilities and needs of multiple crafts including; engineering, game art, UI/UX design, game design, and others. A successful Senior Technical Artist has a service minded approach and has the expertise in one or more of these areas. They have worked within game development for a few years in such a way that they understand both the creative, engineering and production processes to deliver great game experiences.

**Skills to Create thrills**:
Experience
- Consistent track record of both artistic and technical creativity with a real passion for solving problems
- Deep understanding of how to optimize games content for memory and performance
- Experience in crafting various game content (animations/modelling/etc)

Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of one major 3D software packages (Maya preferred)
- Experience of 2D creation software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- In
- depth knowledge of game engine workflows and a good understanding of real
- time rendering processes and pipelines (experience with GLSL/HLSL)
- Scripting ability (e.g. Pymel, Python API)
