Our Presales team is a strategic partner with Sales, Services, and Value - responsible for crafting and delivering a compelling vision of Why Workday for our customers and prospects. We help our customers best manage their people, money, and processes by leading highly interactive discovery workshops, demonstrating solutions delivered by the Workday Enterprise Management Cloud, and strategically advising CIO/CTO/CISOs about the value of our software. We are a fast-growing team and business making a difference for our customers and their employees.

About the Role

Workday is actively seeking individuals to be a part of the Workday sales team based in Madrid, Spain supporting and promoting the technical aspect of the selling engagement. Workday’s contemporary technical foundation and delivery model requires creative, passionate and compelling technical sales professionals to reflect the unique nature of the platform.

Through interactive pre-sales discoveries, you will analyze an organization's needs and demonstrate how Workday's Enterprise Applications can address the customer’s requirements and solve their strategic business concerns with the special focus on technical integration in the IT landscape or the customer. You have the opportunity to work with the best and brightest people in the industry at Workday, where the emphasis on our employees is the cornerstone of our culture. **Responsibilities**:

- Articulating the value and expanding adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) to different audiences.
- Describing the technical architecture of the Workday solution.
- Highlighting the advantages of the Workday architecture over legacy ERP systems.
- Demonstrating the value of SaaS via the Workday Lifecycle.
- Understanding and communicating the Security, Privacy, Performance and Support aspects of the Workday SaaS offering

About You

You are a passionate technologist with a strong combination of technical expertise, consultative selling, industry knowledge, and outstanding presentation skills. Have worked in software presales with the below expertise:
Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of enterprise software presales or value selling experience; or 3+ years of consulting experience in enterprise software or technology with industries
- Legacy ERP technology background
- Integration design pattern knowledge from flat files to Web services
- Software as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of the delivery model and associated characteristics
- Experience with prospect/customer internal security and compliance teams a plus
- Mad presentation skills
