**Senior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable**

**Location: Ebury Malaga - 4 days a week office-based (1 day from home office)**

As a Senior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable, you will work in the Finance - Global Account Services department, taking on a leadership role.

Working as a key part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices, making payments, and controlling expenses. You will ensure compliance with accounting policies and play a crucial role in financial decision-making processes. **Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the completion of payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Handling and resolving all vendor queries regarding finance.
- Ensuring accuracy by reconciling processed work through verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Preparing detailed analyses of accounts and producing monthly financial reports.
- Leading and participating in cross-departmental projects.
- Coordinating and collaborating in the audit process.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable, receivables and reconciliation processes.
- Managing the verification of expense reports and preparation of paychecks for
employees.

**Requirements**:

- Experienced in finance with a senior or supervisory role.
- University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP, and NAV).
- Fluency in English and Spanish
