Now, we are looking for a** Project engineer** in our office in **Barcelona**, Spain

We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management either in a client or consulting company, to participate in a wide range of project work actively, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:

- Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
- Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time-schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
- Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
- Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.

The role of the Project Manager Engineer is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.

We are looking for an engineer with experience as Project manager with experience leading and managing industrial projects from the planning phase to final delivery.

1. Client Management & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout all project phases.
- Present progress reports to clients and senior management, including recommendations for improvement strategies.

2. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project schedules, define key milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary technical teams, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee efficient and cohesive project execution.
- Lead or actively participate in project teams, adapting to the needs of each initiative.

3. Budget & Cost Management
- Manage project budgets ranging between €2M and €30M.
- Optimize costs while maintaining quality and meeting project objectives.

4. Engineering Scope & Technical Oversight
- Manage projects involving new production lines, major packaging and bottling changes, and feasibility studies.
- Interface with Architecture, Engineering, Logistics, Sustainability, Digitalization, and Consulting teams to align technical and strategic goals.
- Possess working knowledge of civil works, building utilities, and process utilities.

5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and relevant industry legislation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-related risks proactively.

6. Permitting & Procurement
- Experience in permitting and procurement processes is considered an asset and contributes to smoother project development cycles

**Requirements**:
**Education**: Industrial/Civil/Chemical engineer.

**Experience**: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience on industrial projects. Experience in Food/Beverages/Engineering companies/Life Sciences.

**Languages**: Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, and French or German is an asset.

**Specific Knowledge**:
o Driver License B.

**Location**: Barcelona with availability to travel up to 60-80% time, depending on project needs.
