**Responsibilities**:

- Develop significant metrics to reflect the true posture of the environment allowing the organization to make educated decisions based on risk
- Build-in security during the development stages of software systems (SDL, Design review, Threat Model, etc).
- Work with engineers to identify the tradeoffs of different solutions and recommend the ideal design that meets the team’s (non)-functional requirements as well as our security requirements.
- Code review using automation and manual techniques.
- Carry out long-term information security plans and policies.
- Use third-party tools for the detection and prevention of security threats.
- Communicating at all levels in the organizations and in some situations act as a technical writer.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in securing large, complex enterprise architectures or systems deployed in public cloud
- Hands-on knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, data and communication protection, etc.
- Proven experience in performing threat modeling, data flow diagramming, architecture risk analysis, identifying bugs and flaws, and driving work items from these activities to resolution
- A passion around improving security development lifecycle and delivering meaningful security guidance
- Offensive mindset: consider abuse and attack paths as well as the defensive mindset to recommendations to prevent them
- Ability to suggest well-written and complete remediation guidelines for the bugs found during the review
- Working knowledge of the OWASP top 10

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
- Experience managing or participating in an information security program and improving or proposing improvements to a secure development lifecycle
- Published CVEs, Public disclosures, Informative research, Bug Bounty hunters
- A functional understanding of one or more public cloud providers: AWS / GCP / Azure
- Experience with building or specifying requirements for security automation
- LI-Y
