Senior Engineer, Frontend
We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Frontend. You will be part of an international agile development team that includes embedded electronics, IOT, AWS cloud-based services, UX and data science areas to create new connected product & digital services from our offices in Getafe (Madrid)

What will you be doing?
- Develop apps (both browser and mobile) for our connected product offering, including B2B and B2C use cases.
- Provide technical guidance and support implementation of best practices in our app development projects.
- Be a mentor for junior members of the team or developers that are taking their first steps in Flutter or app development.
- Work with the rest of the team to define our app development lifecycle, from design to publishing in marketplaces.
- Ensure that the products are developed according to our quality standards.
- Report status of the development process to GF Uponor stakeholders.
- Implement user analytics into our apps and provide support to marketing when defining customer interaction metrics.
- Participate in the R&D innovation efforts of the IoT&Electronics department to define the future of indoor climate, water and energy efficiency systems within Uponor.
- Work includes travelling and working in multicultural environment
What will you need?
- B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng/M.Eng in Engineering or IT related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Flutter.
- Coding experience in React will be valued.
- Experience in development of IoT products will be highly valued.
- Experience working with Figma to coordinate with design team
- Extensive development experience and strong commitment to quality and best practices.
- Work experience
- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
- Experience of at least 3 as tech lead for frontend development.
- Experience within an R&D organization is a plus
- Knowledge of AWS or a similar provider is an asset.
- At ease with operating and managing development tools, solving issues, striking the right balance between urgency and methodology.
- Project management skills an asset
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
