ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:_**

Our OptiFlight solution will be a key pillar in SITA’s contribution to a greener, more sustainable aviation through the enablement of flight and air traffic optimization.

Reporting to the head of OptiOps team, the Analyst, Flight Data Management (QAR) is overall responsible for the following key activities:

- Manage QAR flow
- Configure QAR data decoder for new integrations
- Monitor at manage the quality of decoding
- Continuously Review and improve the overall process flow

You will interact with the various functions within SITA FOR AIRCRAFT such as Engineering & Technology, Product, and other colleagues across the company, located in 20+ countries (Canada, United-States, France, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Spain...).

**_WHAT YOU WILL DO:_**
- Configure QAR decoder and integrate new aircraft and aircraft type in SFA (SITA for Aircraft) library.
- Configure the data flow.
- Check the quality of data.
- Analyze the logs and errors files.

Qualifications:
**_ EXPERIENCE:_**
- Aeronautical engineer with good knowledge of flight data analysis.
- 1 or 2 years of professional experience as FOQA engineer.
- Comprehensive global understanding of the aeronautical domain.
- Knowledge regarding aircraft flight data acquisition system and sensors.
- Understanding of aircraft parameters.
- Knowledge in python, Linux.
- Git common knowledge.
- Programming skills.
- Proactive with good communication skills.

NICE-TO-HAVE:_**
- Bash programming
- Flight data decoding skills (ARINC717 & ARINC767)
- Knowledge of Rancher (Kubernetes management tool)
