We have an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Innovations Division as a Sales Representative looking after our Surgical innovation Portfolio. The working territory is the Islas Canarias, and you will be expected to be located in Tenerife. **A Day in the Life Responsibilities may include the following: - Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. - Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. - Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services. - Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. - Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities. - Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. **Must-Have - Degree in Life-Science, Engineering, or other relevant degree. - At least 2 years selling experience in the medical device industry or High-Tech environment - At least 2 years’ experience in the Surgical field. - Fluency in English and Spanish. - Computer literacy. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks with high degree of organization-prioritization skill. - Ability to work within a highly motivated team as well as autonomously, with a minimum of supervision. - Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals with customers. - Full clean driver license. - Availability to travel. **Nice to Have - Previous measurable theatre sales experience with surgical products. - Field sales experience or customer service experience in the Medical Devices industry. **We Offer We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to all our employees: - Flexible working environment. - Annual Incentive Plan % depending on company results. - Pension scheme and group discount on healthcare insurance. - Training possibilities via Cornerstone/Harvard Manage Monitor/Skills Lab. - Employee Assistance Program and Recognize (Our global recognition program). **Our commitment Our unwavering commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) means zero barriers to opportunity within Medtronic and a culture where all employees belong, are respected, and feel valued for who they are and the life experiences they contribute.
